WHEN TALKING ABOUT VIETNAMESE CUISINE, WE HAVE TO TALK ABOUT PHỞ. Phở originates from Northern Vietnam. Hanoi is located in the North, is the cradle of Vietnamese cuisine. Therefore, to enjoy authentic phở, it must be Hanoi phở.
Coming to “Hà Nội quán”, you will enjoy Hanoi phở with broth simmered for 24 hours from beef bones, served with well done beef and rare beef. Our phở is authentic Hà Nội phở (northern phở) and not southern phở like restaurants in Paris often sell.
Please note that northern phở is very different from southern phở. Northern phở broth has a mild taste, flavored with beef, onions and toasted ginger. Meanwhile, Southern phở broth has a lot of sugar and also has a stronger taste. When eating northern phở, you usually only serve a piece of lemon or garlic vinegar, while southern phở is often served with a plate of vegetables (bean sprouts, coriander, basil…)

Finally, a real Vietnamese restaurant where all the dishes are homemade. I started with the shrimp butchers, and then had shrimp spring rolls. As a main course, beef Phö. Without forgetting the mango Sticky rice for dessert. Everything was perfect. I enjoyed myself, I will come back very soon.

The dishes are delicious and well prepared, with a rich choice of Vietnamese specialties. Their spring rolls are a delight. The staff is very friendly. Only downside: the restaurant is relatively small, and can be quite full at times. That said, it opens until very late during the week and all day on weekends.

I think you are delicious, the menu costs 15.90 and has an appetizer and main course, which are basically the two dishes that I publish. The staff is friendly and attentive. The truth is that I recommend it as a place to visit frequently. Sometimes the food varies in quality. But when it is lower the quality is still good. Only sometimes it’s spectacular. I don’t know why this is, but without a doubt it is a good place.

Hanoi Quan is worth stopping by if you like Vietnamese food and you’re in the neighborhood. My wife had the shrimp rice bowl and I had the pork rice bowl. Very similar ingredients, with the exception of the protein, but both were excellent. It’s also a tremendous value. There are a few other Vietnamese places nearby. They may or may not be good. But I don’t think you’ll be disappointed if you come here.

As a Vietnamese person living in Paris, I just added another Vietnamese restaurant in my recommendation list for my friends. I order traditional vietnamese phở with rawbeef “Phở tái” and “Nem gà” chicken spring roll, they also gave me a free small jug of red tea “hồng trà”(free). The quality of phở here amazes me so much as it is really close to 9/10. The spring rolls are home-made also. The overall price is ~20 euros/person, (pictures attached) which is quite affordable for local people and tourists in my opinion , yet this place is so-called a small precious gem as it’s petite tbh. Don’t forget to take a reservation in advance if you come here in the peak

Really friendly owners and really made me feel so welcome in their restaurant, great food(Hanoi style Vietnamese food)and service. Do not hesitate to come here as the service is top notch and you also get a free tea with your meal during lunch. I will definitely go back and try the other items on the menu.
